2021 International 420 Masters and Apprentices Regatta

The PURPOSE OF THE REGATTA is to introduce Optimist sailors of Gold and Silver fleets to a possible pathway to double handed sailing after they outgrow the Optimist.

The event is open also to Optimist Bronze fleet sailors, but is not very well suited for younger Optimist Novice sailors. Nobody will be turned away, but parental discretion is required. Don’t push your younger sailors on a boat that is too demanding for them.

Each Team will be made up of a Master and an Apprentice, where a Master will be a sailor that has already competed in 420 and an Apprentice will be a sailor that has no 420 racing experience.
