The 420 class had a great RYA Dinghy Show, returning to Alexandra Palace over the weekend of 2-3 March 2019 after a number of years away.

The International 420 Class Association is taking steps to help support and encourage sailors, coaches, national class association and event organizers  to reduce the impact our activities have on the environment.

Sixty-six teams from across Europe were joined by faces from the USA for the 2019 Vilamoura Carnival Regatta hold at Clube Internacional da Marina de Vilamoura over the weekend of 2-4 March 2019, which was also event #2 of the EUROSAF 420 Class Race Circuit.

Held over 1-3 March 2019, the launch event of the Coppa Italia series was organized by Yacht Club Sanremo and held at Marina degli Aregai and attracted an 84 boat line up, of which 39 teams were U17.
 

The International 420 Class is pleased to announce the programme for the Coaches and Sailors Training Camp and Clinic which will be hosted at the Iate Clube do Rio de Janeiro from 11-15 April 2019.

The George Mac Regatta brings together off-the-beach sailors of all ages from around  the bay and interstate. Invited classes include all junior and youth classes, along with a variety of monhull open classes including 470, 420, 29er, 49er, FX, 2.4mR, Finn, Laser 4.7, Laser Radial and Laser Open.

The winning teams in both the 420 Open and 420 Women sailed a solid series to comfortably win at the 2019 Carnival Race, held at Marina degl Aregai, San Remo, Italy from 21-24 May 2019.
 

Hosted at the Fastnet Marine and Outdoor Centre in Schull Harbour on Ireland's southern coastline, a gathering of Irish and British 420 sailors fended off cold weather and even colder water to contest the 2019 Irish Munster Championship on 22-23 February 2019.
 

The ASAF Youth Sailing Cup # 2 of the 2019 Series and the 6th edition of Hong Kong Race Week came to a close on Sunday 17 February, after hosting 245 sailors from 10 nations including China, Cambodia, India, Macau, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong and first-time entries Guam, Myanmar, Norway and Sweden.

Eleven teams from Malaysia and Korea competed at the 16th KFC Langkawi International Regatta Perdana, hosted at the National Sailing Centre Langkawi in Malaysia from 14-17 February.
