Thirteen 420 teams battled it out over seven races at the annual THE Olympic Regatta on Lake Balaton, Hungary from 12-14 July. Twelve Hungarian teams were joined by one Germany team.

NEW ZEALAND AND USA TAKE CONTROL ON DAY 2 AT YOUTH WORLDS

The 420 boys kicked off racing at the 49th edition of the Hempel Youth Sailing World Championship on Monday 15 July with two races under their belts, but  the fading breeze kept the girls off the race track. A more stable breeze on Tuesday gave two races to the Boys and three for the Girls.

Ligth winds prevailed at the annual Warnemuender Woche in Germany, a multi-class event for dinghies and keelboats. The conditions certainly suited the victors, Hannah Kim Thiemann/Maleen Ostermann, who racked up two wins in the 5 race series.
