2020 Copa Brasil de Vela - Final results in Rio de Janeiro
The 2020 Copa Brasil de Vela concluded yesterday at Marina da Gloria in Rio de Janeiro, last Olympic venue in 2016.
The event was organised by Confederação Brasileira de Vela (Brazilian Sailing Federation).
The 420 class competition counted with 17 boats and after 11 fierce races, the first spot was finally for Joana Gonçalves / Marcos Arndt BRA, winning 4 of the last 5 races contested.
Alex Di Francesco / Gustavo Henrique dos Santos BRA were second overall and U16 champions, only 4 points behind the leaders.
Third place overall for Gustavo Glimm / Pedro Amine BRA, only 1 point far from second.
Julia Cantarino / Manuela Baggio BRA were Women's champions, finishing 7th in the overall ranking.
