With a great last day of races the 2020 Portuguese 420 Senior and Youth Championships concluded yesterday in Matosinhos.

The event was co-organized by Clube de Vela Atlântico, Sport Club do Porto and Clube Naval de Leça, in association with Federação Portuguesa de Vela.

After 8 races, this were the winners in all 4 categories:

420 Men’s Overall champions: Ricardo Alves / Tiago Alves - Clube de Vela do Barreiro
420 Women’s Overall champions: Mafalda Gonçalves / Maria Pereira - Iate Clube da Marina de Portimão
420 Women’s Youth champions: Beatriz Gago / Marta Fortunato - Clube Internacional da Marina de Vilamoura / Clube de Vela de Lagos
420 Men’s Youth champions: Mário Soares / Vasco Soares - Associação Náutica da Madeira

Beatriz Cintra / Filipe Lopes from Clube Náutico de Tavira were first among the 420 Mixed Youth teams.
