2021 Midwinter Championship results
Congrats to Tommy Sitzmann / Luke Woodworth USA who dominated the 2021 Midwinter Championship this weekend with a scoreline that included 8 bullets in the 10-race series.
Conditions were good over the 3-day event, with breeze mostly from the SSE 10-15 which provided the 21-boat fleet with plenty of racing.
Griggs and Emery Diemar USA were 2nd, with six 2nd place finishes. The battle ended up being for 3rd and Thomas Hall / Liam O'Keefe USA edged out Will Michels / Spencer Kriegstein USA on the tie-breaker, with both teams at 33 points.
The top girls team was Samara Walsh / Lillie Foster USA, finishing 6th among 22 boats with 54 units.
A big thanks to everyone who helped make this regatta happen - not an easy feat during the pandemic.
