The event format saw 5 qualification races before the 76 boat fleet was split into gold and silver for the 7 race final series. An interesting mix of racing condtions, saw the Tramontana fill in on Saturday with some exhilarating racing in 20-25 knots.

Jim Vincent/Victor Mas enjoyed a standout performance from the outset, mounting a commanding bid for the event title. At no one point did the pair let any other team seize a points advantage, as they kept their assault at the front of the pack around the race track.

Second to Jules Ducelier/Clement Michel, with Switzerland's Maxime Bachelin/Arno De Planta in third. Behind the leading three teams, there was then a significant points gap to the rest of the fleet. Prizes were awarded to the top three overall and top three girls teams.
