But Max Trippolt & Julian Meister (AUT) are on their heels with 19 points, with both teams pulling well ahead of the rest of the fleet. Reka Vigh & Zora Kiss (HUN) and Magdalena & Sophia Hubert-Reh (GER) look as tghough they are having their own close tussle in the women’s.

The excellent Izola website gives us some information on day 3: Snow inland made a great difference, according to the forecasts. Instead of lighter Southern winds, the Bora (NE) reappeared the Gulf of Trieste. Racing was delayed until noon. After that there was a fine and stable NE wind (17 to 22 knots), but quite some degrees C lower than most have expected. “There were some more problems on the second racing field for non-olympic classes. It seems that most of the crews of the 420 class haven't rounded the right mark. There is a hearing held after the protest placed by the RC”.
