A tricky 10 knot breeze confronted the 420 teams for the opening day's three races on the Bay of Palma. A testing but manageable race day for Marc Llado Duran/Javier Gonzalez Rotger who took an instant lead from their 2,1,2 score, with the girls' team of Maria Bover Guerero/Margarita Alba Horrach 2 points behind.

There was no let-up in the breeze on Sunday, which gusted up to 25 knots. Again Llado Duran/Gonzalez Rotger sailed a solid series, taking a race win and following up with a 5th place finish. Just behind them Bover Guerero/Alba Horrach took a DNF penalty score for not finishing the race. They counted this as their discard race, to finish in second overall with Jaume Genorvar Triera/Valerio Petris in third.

The Race Committee decided to send the fleets to shore after race 5, as the breeze intensified and was forecast to exceed 30 knots.

So, another solid win for Marc Llado Duran/Javier Gonzalez Rotger, building on their win earlier this month at 2015 Trofeo CN Arenal and in December last year at Trofeo Ciutat de Palma.

Racing was also held for the Optimist, Laser Radial, Laser 4.7 and Snipe.
