BRITISH END OF SEASONS UNFOLD ON BLUSTERY WEEKEND

Victory to Neil Marsden/James Scott at the final major racing event of the British 2016 season unfolded with a seven race series over a blustery weekend at Gratham Water Sailing Club, 19-20 November 2016.

Marsden/Scott raced a consistent scorecard of top 6 finishes, after discarding their 10th in race 4. Only Robbie King/Marcus Tressler and Hatty Morsley/Pippa Cropley, who finished 2nd and 3rd, were really in touch with the leaders.

A strong fleet of forty-four 420 teams attacked the blustery race track, with a mix of senior and under-16 partnerships. A number of new faces have stepped to the 420 from the Optimist, including impressive reuslts from Julia Mellers and Ellen Main who finished 9th overall.
