All National Class Associations are reminded that the online entry deadline for the 2017 420 Open European Championships is BEFORE 22 June 2017, as detailed in Notice of Race Clause 7 - Registration.

The 2017 420 Open European Championships is hosted at Nautical Club of Tzitzifies Kallithea (NOTK), Greece and organized in partnership with NOTK, the Hellenic Yachting  Federation, Greek 420 Class Association and the International 420 Class Association.

The 420 Open European Championships is open to non-European teams, although the medals will be presented to Europeans teams, and nations are entitled to make the following entries:

  • 2017 420 European Championships - is open to teams of all ages. Each NCA is entitled to 7 boats, with 14 boats for the host nation.
  • 2017 420 Ladies European Championships - is open to teams of all ages. Each NCA is entitled to 7 boats, with 14 boats for the host nation.
  • 2017 U17 420 European Championship - is restricted to athletes aged 16 and under at the end of 2017. Each NCA is entitled to enter 6 boats (3 boats men or mixed and 3 boats ladies) and the host NCA entitled to 12 boats (6 boats men or mixed and 6 boats ladies). All entries to the U17 World Championship will race in one fleet. If there are less than 30 entries the U17 fleet will be included in the respective Worlds and Ladies fleets. U17 team is defined as a team who shall not have attained their 17th birthday on or before 31.12.2017 (i.e. born after 31 December 2000) for both members of the team.

Each National Class Association (NCA) has been emailed their individual login details to complete online entry. Emails are sent to the contact details we hold on record for each National Class Association, so please check the details at http://www.420sailing.org/default/classinfo
