French President (well, the 420 one anyway) wishes all sailors 'Bonne Chance!'
Final preparations for the start of the 2010 Junior European Championships are being made at SR Rochelaises in La Rochelle. The second day of measurement today, with the Practice Race this afternoon, when the boats will sail in two arbitrary flights for this race only.
Christian Berhault, President of 420 UNIQUA France (the French Class association) sent us his good wishes for the event last night : “As the President of the French 420 Class, I would send my best support to all the teams participating to the 420 Junior European Championship. Unfortunately I will be with you only at the end of the championship. However, thanks to the web, I will follow in hot-line the races, for sure. Have a very good event in La Rochelle. PS Good news: the container containing the presentation of the 50-years celebration is arrived in Marseille and could be exposed in La Rochelle on Monday afternoon. Ouf !”
