The 420 World Championships started today (Friday) with the first of two days of qualifying races.

In the Women’s, with 2, 2, 7 placings in the three races of the day, Imke Brockerhoff & Annika Stork of Germany have a 2-point lead over Brazilians, Martine Soffiati Grael & Daniela Adler Pimentel Duarte with their 6, 1, 6 line-up. Sara Anendola & Giulia Paolillo of Italy took 7, 4, 4 to lie in 3rd into Day 2.
