With a building seabreeze, the final day of the Australian 420 Championships sailed out of Middle Harbour Yacht Club offered some perfect conditions for the competitors. The one and only race of the day was won by Youth Champions Alex Gough & Angus Galloway. However, overall the regatta was won by Western Australian and 2010 champions, Mathew Jerwood & Tim Hannah.

The one and only race of the day was won by Youth Champions Alex Gough & Angus Galloway. However, overall the regatta was won by Western Australian and 2010 champions, Mathew Jerwood & Tim Hannah.

“In the women’s Western Australians Carrie Smith & Ella Clarke ended their regatta strong by defeating Queenslanders Eloise Brake and Jamie Ryan. This win gave the overall Youth Worlds position to Smith and Clarke. Both Gough & Galloway and Smith & Clarke now head to Croatia to compete for Australia in the ISAF Youth World Championships later this year”.
