JORDI XAMMAR/JOAN HERP (ESP) SEND GREETINGS TO TEAMS AT 420/470 JUNIOR EUROPEANS
Before getting on the plane from Madrid to Rio with the entire Spanish Olympic team, 470 junior stars Jordi Xammar/Joan Herp sent a message to their friends competing in the 470 Class at the Junior Europeans.
Xammar/Herp dominated the 470 junior fleet at the 2014 470 Junior Worlds and Junior Europeans, with a heap of titles leading up to their successes in the 470 fleet. They dominated for many years in the 420 class, before the Olympic dream beckoned. In 2014, they qualified Spain to the Rio 2016 Olympics and at the 2016 470 Europeans the pair secured their place in history.
If Rio hadn’t beckoned, the partnership would be stretching their legs around the race track on Lake Balaton, so were keen to send their many friends racing at the Junior Europeans Championships a message:
