With one further race on the last day, Sam Kivell & Max Taylor held their overnight lead to take the Australian National Championship at Sandringham Yacht Club, Melbourne by 5 points from David Gilmour & Andres Noe, With a gap of 28 points over the following pack, this had been a hard fought duel.

Mark Whittington & Scott Sharpe took 3rd (49 points), followed closely by Matthew Jerwood & Patrick Vos (51) and Edward Campbell & James Omay (59). Lauren Thredgold & Megan Soulsby took 6th and won the Women’s competition with a 9 point lead over their nearest rivals, Jacqueline Gurr & Emma Flukes.
