Matt Jerwood & Tim Hannah extended their lead further on the penultimate day at Middle Harbour, although the light and tricky winds were evidently a challenge. “Another light and tough day on the water for competitors in their fourth day of the International 420 Australian Championships. With a soft 5 – 8 knot breeze, the 31 420's raced it out in front of Middle Head”, writes President, Rob Brewer.

Carrie Smith & Ella Clark are back into 3rd and putting Angus Galloway & Alexander Gough under a bit of pressure, while Luke Morrison & Jack Walker and Elloise Brake & Jaime Ryan have their own dual. Alec Bailey & Henry Goodfellow are now under pressure from Russell Kan & Andrew Chan of Singapore, who have enjoyed the double discard and moved up to 7th
