MARSDEN AND BRICKWOOD ARE CURRADINGHY 2011 420 INLAND CHAMPIONS

With national, inland, youth and world champion titles variously in the Mirror, GP12, Enterprise, Topper, Soling and 470, RYA Head Coach, Neil Marsden added the 420 Inlands to his extensive CV today. Neil was joined by reigning World Ladies’ Champion crew, Megan Brickwood to take the Championship by 3 points. Sailing a consistent series of races, Tim/Ed Riley came a close second, no doubt spurred on by their win at Lymington last weekend. Craig Dibb/Charlie Cox led the rest, with a bullet in the final race, on an even lighter Sunday, giving them 3rd overall ahead of Harry Derbyshire/Tom Lovesey and Callum Airlie/Joseph Butterworth.

Annabel Vose/Kirstie Urwin led the women, ahead of Jess Lavery/Georgie Mothersele and Sarah Alton/Molly Frost.
