Consistency was the name of the game on the opening day of racing, with all the top 5 teams posting repeat scores in race 2 as they achieved in race 1. Taking the two race bullets were Xavier Winston-Smith/Joshua Dawson, with Klaus Lorenz/James Scott scoring second places and Jonathon Cooper/Aleksandrs Price third places.
Race Day 1 of Sail Melbourne and two races completed for the 420 fleet.
Racing will continue through until 8 December 2012.
