REMINDER: 2015 420 General Assembly Meeting
The 2015 420 General Assembly will take place on Saturday 18 July 2015, during the 2015 420 World and Ladies World Championships in Karatsu, Japan. Saturday 18 July 2015 is the second day of measurement and equipment inspection.
All National 420 Class Association are entitled to make submissions and proposals to the General Assembly Meeting and put forward bids for future 420 Championships.
Bid for a 420 Championship
Bids for the 2017 420 World and Ladies World Championships will be considered at the 2015 420 General Assembly.Bidding Information is at: www.420sailing.org/content/bid-for-a-championship
A club which wishes to host the 2017 420 World and Ladies World Championships should contact the International 420 Class Association through his National 420 Class Association (NCA) or ISAF Member National Authority if no such NCA exists. Application to host should be made to the International 420 Class Executive Committee, in writing, by 1 July 2015.
420 General Assembly Agenda
The 420 General Assembly Agenda will be as set out in the International 420 Class Association Constitution - Clause 13, and the Agenda and supporting papers will be circulated prior to the meeting.
Please note that in accordance with Constitution Clause 13.1:
- Proposals from Members to the General Assembly shall be submitted, to the Executive Committee, at least three months before the date of the General Assembly.
- Nominations for Election to the Executive Committee or Technical Committee shall be submitted to the Executive Committee three months before the date of the General Assembly.
