REMINDER - DEADLINE FOR 420 CHAMPIONSHIP BIDS IS 1 JULY 2017

Jun 2017

Hosting our international events is something the International 420 Class Association takes very seriously and cares passionately about.

The 420 Class is the most popular two-person youth dinghy raced by girls and boys, offering challenging racing in a vibrant and modern class that promotes fair play, team spirit and healthy lifestyles.

Through the bid process, the International 420 Class Association looks for hosts who share our passion for promoting and developing 420 sailing.

All 420 Class Championships provide a great opportunity to develop the sport and the class and will help showcase the best teams in different age and gender groups, providing a platform for the achievement of wider social goals and ensuring a legacy plan.

The 420 Class Assocation Championship Manual, Bid Application Form and Appendices clarify the relationship between the event Organizing Committee and the 420 Class.

Close collaboration between the Member National Authority, National Class Association and the club hosting the event and the International 420 Class Association is a must for success. Promotion and communications plans for the event are developed and approved by both the 420 Class and the Organizing Committee.
