ALL EVENT INFORMATION

The 54th week of La Rochelle Dériveurs, an event organized by the Société des Régates Rochelaises was held this year from June 3rd to 5th. A very nice edition with a considerable number of dinghies. In total it is 11 series represented with 294 riders on 232 dinghies!

Three days of varied conditions for the 6 race series, saw a 17 knot breeze open the event, before lighter breeze meant some postponements ashore until the sea breeze filled in.

Going into the final race there were just 2 points between Balanger/Tallieu Gueydan and Andre/Baradat, and disappointingly for Andre/Baradat, it was a case of playing catch up around the race track. The pair crossed the line in 6th, but it was no match for the second place wrapped up byBalanger/Tallieu Gueydan and with it the series win.Thrid to Jeremi Nathan / Mathis Guessard.

No surprise to see the persistently good partnership of Violette Dorange/Camille Orion claim 5th overall and the top girls spot.
