Racing took place from 27-30 December, with the USA 420 Nationals integrated into the iconic Orange Bowl Regatta hosted by Coconut Grove Sailing Club. The pair discarded the final light air race 10 in which they retired, to win by an astonishing 46 points in the 36-boat fleet.

Competing on the international stage, in July 2015 Rogers/Parkin secured the silver medal at the 2015 420 World Championships in Japan, following through to win gold at the 420 Open Junior European Championships in Bulgaria in August 2015.

Behind Rogers/Parkin, racing was very tight for second through to 5th place at the USA 420 Nationals, with just a 6 point separation. Second to Jack Johansson/Ian Robinson, with Henry Burnes/Peter Barron finishing in third on points tiebreak over Kathryn Hall/Ashton Borcherding.

Hall/Borcherding were the top girl’s team in 4th, and Matt Logue/Cameron Giblin were the top junior team in 7th overall.
