Ligth winds prevailed at the annual Warnemuender Woche in Germany, a multi-class event for dinghies and keelboats. The conditions certainly suited the victors, Hannah Kim Thiemann/Maleen Ostermann, who racked up two wins in the 5 race series.
Twenty-five German teams took to the race track for a scheduled three days of racing, 12-14 July, but the light conditions meant only 5 races were contested.
Hannah Kim Thiemann/Maleen Ostermann went into the final race on a 1 point deficit to Siri Segger/Helena Peters, but managed to finish one place ahead and put the two teams on tiebreak. Advantage to Thiemann/Ostermann who counted more race wins, with third going to Johannes Machur/Friedrich Rusch.
