World Champion Kiwis just ahead of Israelis into day 3 at Junior Euros

A moving picture at the Junior Euros by the end of Day 2. World Champions, Carl Evans & Peter Burling (NZL) have taken the lead (but on equal 11 points) from Amit Brokman & Moshe Appel (ISR) tonight. Up from last night, James & Dan Ellis have jumped into 3rd. Berenger Balzeau & Mathieu Fontaine (FRA) 4th on 19 and António Rosa & Francisco Lacerda (POR) 5th on 22 points.

Keijzer & van Leen win the Silver Fleet

Nina Keijzer & Anneloes Van Veen (NED) won the Silver Fleet, with Agueda Suria Palop & Marta Martinez-Pons G in 2nd. Whilst Isamu Sakai & Bryan Tse of Hong Kong were 3rd in the overall rankings on count-back, Pieter Van Notten & Jasper Kleijweg (NED) were 3rd in the European competitor rankings in the Silver Fleet

GBR women wipe the board with triple billing on Junior Euros podium

Hannah Mills & Peggy Webster successfully defended their 2006 title to become Women’s Junior European Champions for a second year running. Sophie Ainsworth & Jasmine Husband were 2nd and Frances Peters & Kate Sparks 3rd. GBR Anne Krueger & Marie Schonknecht (GER) and Susanne Baur & Katharina Berggren (GER) were immediately behind Peters & Sparks.
