Postponement, then abandonment, for 420s at Weymouth

The 420’s, Laser’s and Hobie 16’s started the day with high hopes, setting off in a light but constant south westerly wind, however as morning became afternoon the likely hood of starting dropped, as the wind outside the breakwater failed to fill in.

It seems that they had some storms over night at Lago di Ledro and then were a bit becalmed for most of Friday, but the Race Committee have tomorrows finals set-up as follows: New Zealand (the favourite) in the Grand Final with Italy 3 and a shoot-out between ITA2 and ITA3 for the Petit Finals.
