Spain and United States claimed Gold at the 2022 Youth Sailing World Championships

The 2022 Youth Sailing World Championships concluded today in The Hague, Netherlands, after 5 days of competition.
Spain in 420 Women and United States in 420 Men/Mixed were the World champions.
Spain has also won the Nations Trophy out of the 67 participating nations for having obtained the best results among the 11 youth sailing competitions.
Blue skies and winds of 5 to 8 knots rounded off five days of world-class competition in Scheveningen, near The Hague in the Netherlands.
Strong currents and predominantly light winds made for tactically very challenging racing, with a high premium on good starting.
