The provisional results at the end of Thursday, 4 August have been published (follow link) and promise a challenging last day of racing on Friday for podium places.

In the Open Gold fleet, O.DA SILVA & GOMES (Portugal) have a 12 point lead over CAPODANNO & PAPA of Italy, with BURLING & KENNEDY of NZL in 3rd, only 1 point ahead of SANTURDE & QUEVEDO of Spain.

In the Ladies’, TURIZIO & RENDANO of Italy have a 9 point lead over LUMEAU & BOSSARD of France, the 2005 ISAF Youth Women’s Champions. One point behind, BRIGG & ROOK of GBR, who lead the Championships until yesterday, are 24 points ahead of MACAIRE & GOUGEON of France.

In the Open Silver Fleet, SPANOMANOLIS & PAPADOPOYLOS of Greece have a 25 poiint lead over LAW & GUTENKUNST of USA, who are1 point ahead of PAREJO & FERNANDEZ of Spain.
