2013 Sail the Gulf (2)
Four days of racing at Sail the Gulf 2013 concluded on Saturday, 23 February 2013 at Doha Sailing Club. Teams from Myanmar and Qatar contested the event, but were dominated by Myanmar’s girls team of Wai Pwint Wabo/Theingi Win Shwe who are the new champions after winning 7 of the 11 races.

It was an excellent sailing week with winds speed from light to strong. The Race Officers managed a good racing throughout the week.
Addressing the Closing Ceremony, Mr Khalifa M. Al Sewaidi, President Qatar Sailing & Rowing Federation, expressed his gratitude to Participants, Race Officers, Judges, Volunteers and Media who made this event a success.
