France’s Guillaume Pirouelle/Valentin Sipan and Spain’s Santi Mas/Jaime Ensecal end day 1 on equal points, with Pirouelle/Sipan having the tiebreak advantage. France notched up a 2,1 and Spain a 1,2 on their scorecards.
Two races were held for the sixty-one boat 420 fleet on Saturday’s race day 1
Craig Dibb/Charlie Cox (GBR) are in third, with New Zealand’s Jayvee Buchanan/ Matthew Morrison in fourth.
Top girls’ team are the fifth placed Eric Dawson/Ellie Copeland.
