Don’t miss the Test Event Overview in Vilamoura
Dear sailors coming to the 2022 420 Junior Europeans in Vilamoura, Portugal;
The local organization invites you to join the Test Event from July 15-17 2022 for practicing and testing home waters before the main competition.
As part of this practice, the 420 Class is also organizing a Test Event Overview, lead by the head coach José Costa. This Portuguese Olimpic Sailor will be briefing you all during these 3 days in the morning before you leave afloat, and then videoing your starts, mark roundings and other critical parts of the races on water to finally debrief with you and your coaches when coming back ashore.
José Costa has two Olympic participations in 49er, representing Portugal at Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020. He was sailing in this class for about 13 years and participating on Europeans and Worlds and many other events, being always on the first 10 of the world rankings during this period.
So we encourage you to participate and get the most of it!
