Great images from Imperia & Palma, plus Imperia results
We are getting great photos tonight - some already on the Rolling Photos and more to come, with some also posted on the Photo Gallery - from both Fabio Taccolo in Imperia and Nico Martinez in Palma..
Following a bit of a bottleneck in accessing the results from Imperia for Saturday (Popular website!), we have caught up. Some strong gusts over 20 knots of wind were reported by PR supremo, Laura Jelmini, who had first-hand experience having sailed the course with the Minister of Tourism!
Agueda Suria & Sofia Basterra of Spain held their first place after Saturday’s one race, but shared 4 points with Federica Wetzl & Marta Parladori, so the pressure is on for the last day’s racing! Barbera & Bocca Giulia were in 3rd overnight on 12 points.
In the Open competition, the Greek team, Vasilis Tsokaras & Alexandros Mogadam took the lead on 3 points. In 2nd their team-mates, Marios Petrogonas & Faidon Kounas and in third, leading Italian team, Lorenzo Gemini & Francesco Chessa Orru' were both on 9 pts. More close competition to be resolved on Sunday.
