INTRODUCING THE 420 CLASS TO THE NEXT GENERATION OF SAILORS AT OPTMIST EASTER REGATTA
Once again the International 420 Class Association will descend on Fraglia Vela Riva, Lake Garda in Italy for the annual Optimist Easter Regatta - which attracts young sailors from around the world.
Taking place from 29 March to 1 April, the 36th Lake Garda Meeting features a turnout of around 1,000 Optimist sailors from across not just Europe, but the world.
The event is the perfect opportunity to put a 420 at the heart of the next generation of sailors, and for many years the 420 Class has given young Optimist sailors the chance to find out more about transitioning their sailing career to 420 sailing.
From 29-31 March a fully-rigged 420 and a 420 Class representative will be on hand to share information about the 420 Class, provide promotional material and discuss the opportunities the class provies to young sailors.
