Junior European Championship 2009 - Final Results
Another day of waiting(- and it is getting really hot today, so tents of boat covers and useful keelboat hulls have been brought into use (the USA had an elaborate wigwam!). The top ten 470s have been called to the water in the hope of getting a Medal Race, and the 420s finally got the signal at 15.00 that the Championship is finished.
Much frenetic activity now in the Boat Park, of course, but at 18.00 the Prize Giving and Closing Cerremony, at the next door Hotel Uni.

After a series of notices from the Race Committee through the day regarding posponements, racing was eventually abandoned for the day. Jim Saltonstall had a very well attended third meeting with the sailors. We hope that wind may come tomorrow.
