Luis Niza and Paulo Baptista hold onto lead - But only just .....

The second day of the 2011 Portuguese 420 Championship, being held on the offshore island of Tavira, delivered three races in a south south-westerly breeze ranging from 2.5 - 12 knots. After a frustrating test of patience in today's opening race 4, races 5 and 6 tested the sailors in a different way as the wind increased.

Host club team Luis Niza and Paulo Baptista sailed well and hold onto their overnight lead. They opened the day with a race result of 6, then retired after completing race 5.
