Massive 420 fleet for Kieler Woche
The 420 entry list for 2012 Kieler Woche stands at 149 teams from 15 nations – making it the largest fleet of the International Classes (non-Olympic) racing at Kiel. Racing is scheduled to get underway on Thursday 21 June through until 24 June 2012, with 11 races scheduled over the four days.
Last year’s winners, the Australian team of Angus Galloway/Alexander Gough don’t look to be competing, but will be at the 420 Worlds in Austria in a few weeks.
Teams from Austria, Chile, Czech Republic, Spain, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Singapore, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkey and USA are set to be on the startline, as are many of the teams already selected for the 420 Worlds and 420 Junior Europeans later this summer.
