A mixed bag of weather forced racing to be cancelled on the final day, but a good rounded Championship with 7 races was still completed.
Eight teams contested the 420 fleet, with a fairly clear domination from Aikaterini Tavoulari/Foteini Koutsoumpou of Greece. The pair won 3 races, finishing second in the other 4. Behind them, the podium was an all-Greek line-up with George Dafereras/Nokolaos Patelis on 12 points in 2nd place and Ioanis Moustakarias/Georgios Karadimas just a point behind in 3rd.

Day 1 kicked off with 3 races and the lead in the hands of Moustakarias/Georgios Karadimas, on tiebreak over Tavoulari/Koutsoumpou. Three more races on day 2 and all change as Tavoulari/Koutsoumpou swept into the lead with 2 wins from 3 races. Just one race on the final day meant their position was unassailable.

The 47th Balkan and Open Sailing Championships was held on Siut Ghiol Lake in Constanta, Navodari.
