South Africa's Eben Vivier/Johann Vivier have established themselves as the force to be reckoned with in the 2015/2016 Southern Charter Grand Slam Series.

The partnership opened the 2015/2016 season with a win at Grand Slam 1 back in mid-September, following up with victory at Grand Slam 2 in early December and a repeat of form over the past weekend, 6-7 February 2016.

Hermanus Yacht Club, located on a lake about 120 kilometres miles south east of Cape Town, hosted racing for a range of junior and adult classes in event 3 of the annual Southern Charter Grand Slam Series.

Five races over the two days saw Eben and Johan claim four of the five race victories, just leaving one race win in the hands of Nicholas Faraday/Wade Ashton. A second overall to Faraday/Ashton marked their best finish of the series so far, with third going to David Jacobs/Daniel Agulhas. Top girls team were Anke Van Rooyen/Lea Smith in 5th overall.

Up next is the final event of the Southern Charter Grand Slam Series over the weekend of 25-28 March 2016 at Voelvlei Yacht Club.
