VICTORY TO CARMEN AND EMMA COWLES AT US 420 NATIONALS

Congratulations to sister, Carmen and Emma Cowles for winning the 2016 US I420 Nationals which were held within the Orange Bowl Regatta in Coconut Grove, Florida, from 27-30 December, 2016.
The pair sailed a consistent regatta, including 4 bullets and two 2nds over the 10-race series, to take the top spot by 12 points. The 39-boat fleet saw varied conditions from very light to fairly heavy air.
Second to Eddie Mintzias/Declan McGranahan on 36 points, with third placed Tom Rice/Trevor Bornarth on 53 points.
Next up the 420 North American Championships, 14-16 January 2017.
