Sailing under Christ the Redeemer with champagne conditions.

The fourth day of the 2024 420 World Championship concluded with two more races for each fleet. Men / Mixed are now split into Gold and Silver with lots of shuffling in top places. On the Women’s fleet the top 4 contenders are starting to get ahead from the fleet while on the Under17 fleet the Greek crew has grown their difference.

 

Men / Mixed
The whole Podium changed after today’s racing with two Italian crews on first and second place. Lisa Vucetti and Vittorio Bonifaccio continued their good perfomance with a bullet and a second today. Their co-patriots Flavio Fabbrini and Margherita Bianca Bonifaccio climbed in second after a fourth and a first place. The grew duo of Sourlatzis Nikolaos and Dimitrios are completing the podium after an eight and thirteen place.

Men / Mixed

Women

Small changes on the women fleets concerning the overall results since the top 4 contenders are switching places race by race. The Spanish crew of Paula and Isabel Laiseca Bueno are leading the category, taking the lead from the Greek crew of Kerkezou - Giannouli which follow in second. The local crew of Goncalves and Vassel are on third place.

 

Under 17

Dominating their category until now, Tournis - Michalopoulos are leading the Under 17 category. Padron - Mesa Oliver are stil in second place followed by Rodriguez Pasqual - Montoya Porland.

 

At least two more races are scheduled for tomorrow at 13:00 local time with Men/Mixed Gold starting first, followed by Women. Men / Mixed Silver will start third on sequence.
