Day two with an Olympic Aroma here in Japan
The second day of our Sailors and Coaches Development Clinic is on the books. It was another day full of theoritical and practical sessions with a lot of learnings for our sailors. The day started with two theoritical sessions from our Head Coach Michalis. The first one was about efficiently planning the racing season and the second one was about the starting procedure and start positioning.
In the afternoon, with the breeze filling up the bay of Enoshima our teams went on the water for their practical sessions. We focused a lot on starts and boat coordination and finished the day doing some racing. Three more days to go here in Japan, with the 2024 420 Asian and Oceanian Championships coming just the day after.
Worthy mention: One of the attendee coaches that is joining us for this clinic is the former Olympian Ai Kondo Yoshida, 5th at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, gold and silver winner in the 470 World Championships.
