The programme is between business and primary schools, where local businesses (within the catchment area of a lake) purchase and sponsor a new entry level Zou Club Optimist at a massively reduced price (R7800.00) to an enthusiastic school (within the catchment area of the same lake) as a seed boat to develop sailing at that school as a school sport. Twice2Much are also planning to test an academy development program that will take care of all the school's sail training needs in that catchment area on a professional level. Zou Optimists are investing in South Africa and work hand in hand with Twice2much on this exciting project.

The idea is to grow the Optimist population to such an extent that the programme will develop a super healthy feeder system for junior sailing in South Africa. There are current plans in place to test this model in Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Twice2Much has developed an own sailing brand called t2m racing and have contracted with three top Optimist and 420 coaches internationally. t2m racing will bring three top Optimist and 420 coaching clinics to South Africa on an annual basis and we will invite two 420 teams (4 sailors) and two Optimist sailors per annum to attend two top clinics in Europe. Sailors will be invited on merit and will not only comprise of top performers. Our international coaches will ensure the best quality international clinics/regattas for our sailors, irrespective of their competency levels.

t2m racing will also invite four 420 teams and four Optimist sailors of various competency levels to become part of the t2m racing team. This invitation will include a coaching, sail clothing, travel and regatta fee sponsorship.

This is a private initiative in support of sailing in South Africa.
