Day 1 results - 2021 420 & 470 Eastern Europe Championships
The 2021 420 & 470 Eastern Europe Championships started yesterday in Gizycko, Poland, with the first two races.
14-23 knots from South West going up and down and shifting to the left marked the sailing conditions at the lake.
420’s are led by Ludwik Grzelak / Tomasz Lewandowski POL with perfect score winning both races, followed by Rafal Pogorzelski / Filip Fajfer POL and Jeremi Dabrowski / Mikolaj Bazyli POL with 6 and 9 points respectively. 86 sailors are being part of this competition.
The 470 championship is headed by Tetiana Lepsha / Yehor Samarin UKR, winners of both first races, followed by Weronika Jaroszek / Filip Zalewski POL and Jakub Golebiowski / Hanna Dzik POL with 6 and 7 points respectively. 20 sailors are being part of this fleet.
3 new races are scheduled for today, with the first warning signal at 12:00. Strong winds are expected for the next 2 days. Only for the last day on Friday the forecast announces lighter conditions.
