Lee & Low and Liu & Cheng take double Asian Gold for Singapore
The Asian Games sailing concluded with massive leads in both the men’s and women’s fleet for the Singapore teams. Qing Rachel Lee & Rui Qi Cecilia Low had a 15 point lead and Xiaman Justin Liu & Feng Yaun Sherman Cheng were 17 points ahead of the field. Khairunni Mohd Afendi & Nora Mohamad Sayed of Malaysia were 2nd and Mengxi Wei & Haiyan Gao of China were 3rd in the women’s fleet. Hoyeob Yang & Sangmin Lee of Korea were 2nd in the men’s.
Mohamad Ha. Mazelan & Ku Anas B. Ku Zamil of Malaysia were third, a fraction of a point ahead of Junior World Champions 2010, Atiwat Chomtongdee & Navee Thamsoontorn of Thailand.
