It was a test of nerves in the 420 class with points extremely close at the top of the fleet, but it was Craig Dibb (Warsash SC) and Charlie Cox (Royal Lymington Yacht Club) who stole the day's headlines as they finished their first three races in the top three including two bullets, to put themselves in fourth overall.

Alex Munro & Brad Moss are the 2011 NZL National Champions on a net score (from 10 races, after two drops) of 19 points, with Verity Judge & Gemma Jones, the 2011 Women’s Champions in 2nd place overall on 33 points and Sam Mackay & Oscar Rorik a very close 3rd on 34 points.
