2020 Carnival Race in Sanremo - Day 3
Fabulous sailing conditions in Sanremo, where the 2020 Carnival Race concluded the third day of competition.
All four fleets were sent to water today under perfect climate conditions. A splendid sun and a medium-light wind between 7 and 10 knots of 230 degrees –which rotated between the first and second regatta from 230 to 245 degrees– favored the RC to conduct three extremely regular regattas.
After 8 races, the 420 Women's championship is led by the Polish team formed by Zofia Korsak / Karolina Cendrowska POL, followed by Greeks Dimitra Vartholomaiou / Gogou Mataxia GRE. Third place for the Slovenians Celestina Sabadin / Veronika Franic SLO.
The 420 Open championship is headed by the French boat handled by Ange Delerce / Timothee Rossi FRA, followed by local brothers Federico and Riccardo Figlia di Granara ITA. Third place overall for Thom Rodet / Yael Maucut FRA.
Tomorrow will be the last day of races at Marina Degli Aregai, with great expectations for everyone!
