Racing gets underway again at the ISAFs

ISAF: All the boats are heading out, and it looks like being a great day of racing in Buzios. Hardly a cloud in the sky and NE breeze of 12-15 knots, maybe a little stronger. Three races scheduled for all events with first starts at 11:30 local (14:30 UTC)”.

After a poorer first race today, Bernard Skoczek & Thibaut Soler scored a bullet in the second, Following an amendment to the results this evening, with a DSQ for Phil Sparks & Ben Gratton (GBR), who have dropped to 7th, Skoczek & Soler lead the field into the lay day. Benjamin Grez & Carlos Vergara (CHI) had to concede position to David Vignone & Matteo Ramian (ITA) who took 2nd in the final race oand end the day in 2nd overall..

ISAF Youth Worlds 2009 to be held in Brazil

The ISAF Youth World Championship Sub-Committee supported the bid from Brazil to host the 2009 ISAF Youth Worlds, and subject to Council approval and final contract arrangements, Buzios, two hours north of Rio de Janeiro, is set to host the first ever ISAF Youth Worlds in South America.
